Perfect for removing debris and fouling at the back of the breech. If this area is not maintained, the black powder fouling builds up, and then gets baked into a rock liked substance often called “coke.” Future firings can cause this coke to glow like an ember, so that when one dumps a powder charge, or in the case of live firing a charge and bullet, it prematurely detonates the powder. This can cause flash and powder burns to the fingers and hands, or face if one is loading improperly.
Our bore scrapers will fit on the appropriate ramrod. Choose either .54, .58 or .69 cal.
