I see that my old review got wiped off the slate when this website was recently up dated. I can’t let my experience with this fine product go unmentioned, so here we go again:
When I ordered this belt initially I made about a four to six inch mistake on the measurement of my waistline. Don’t ask me how! I hadn’t been that thin since the 8th grade! In the usual great customer service that we have come to love with the RQM folks I was able to quickly switch to another belt that solved my “diameter” issue. Thank goodness because I did not want to have to get in on that ad with Marie Osmond and say, “I’m Dave and I lost forty pounds”!
I bought the oiled finish version of the belt and cannot be more pleased with the appearance, quality of construction and durability. This belt has that authentic look. It is very sturdy yet supple. I believe the forked tongue buckle is as close to the real thing as you can buy. In color, shape, and size the buckle closely resembles those original buckles that you see at Civil War shows and in various magazine articles.
